Beginning in 2007, a group of nearly 100 boat owners sharing their passion for delivering only the highest quality, founded Productores del Mar de México, S.A. de C.V.
(PROMARMEX), a consortium with more than 400 fishing boats, to market their shrimp under its own private brand namely Mexican Shrimp Paradise.
The brand is intended to be distributed to leading foodservice companies serving gourmettype supermarkets, restaurants and hotels by a professional network of international agents located within the United States, Canada and Japan.
