Our product offering ranges from standard units to custom designs, with great emphasis being placed on providing five-star living conditions. We offer turnkey solutions, which include design, manufacturing, décor, installation, all external reticulation and project management services. Whatever your landscape, we will make it our canvas!

Founded more than four decades ago, Canvas and Tent has grown from a recognised local brand into a global leader in the manufacturing of canvas-related products. Ideally situated in the town of Ladysmith at the foothills of South Africa’s Drakensburg Mountains, the Canvas and Tent factory is in the centre of an industrial hub of textiles manufacturing.

Our clientele base comprises of numerous world-class game reserves, renowned safari destinations, as well as adventurers and “Weekend Warriors”. Catering to both local and international networks of businesses, our work also extends to military counterparts and humanitarian organisations. Our commitment to excellence has resulted in us being a preferred supplier to the United Nations and other NGO’s, having registered with many of their divisions such as the WHO, UNICEF and UNDP. All Canvas and Tent products are SABS and ISO 9001:2008 accredited, attesting to our dedication to full customer satisfaction and complete legislative compliance.

In striving to meet increasing levels of demand, we often engage in extension and technological advancement projects at our factory, to adequately accommodate the ever-emerging requirements of providing products of pristine and immaculate quality. The new design and layout of our factory has proven to increase our productivity as well as reduce manufacturing time significantly. The flow of production has only become better coordinated and ultimately more efficient.
