DURO is the flagship brand of Sarda Plywood Industries Ltd. (SPIL) and is one of India's leading premium plywood brands. SPIL was founded in 1957 when wood was the ideal and the only solution being provided by the furniture industry.

SPIL’s first manufacturing facility was established in Jeypore, Assam, the home of plywood manufacturing and the DURO range of quality plywood products was rolled out from this factory.

Raw materials are sourced indigenously as well as from overseas. An obsessive focus on quality has always been the integral tenant of the entire business and strict Quality Assurance methods at every stage of manufacturing ensure the highest standards from start to finish.
