Whissell Contracting Ltd is a General Contractor with expertise in underground utilities; earthworks and grading; heavy hauling; and landfill construction and operation. We also offer equipment contracting and rentals. We operate in Alberta with our head office in Calgary and branch office in Lethbridge.

With operations spanning over 40 years, Whissell has a staff with decades of experience. We specialize in project management and have the capability of managing subcontractors, suppliers, materials and equipment for both small and large projects. Our track record has built us a reputation of providing exception value, innovation and project delivery that meets budget, scheduling and quality expectations. From project pricing, to project start up, through to final acceptance, Whissell’s mission is “To build the best projects every time”.

With teamwork, we partner with our clients to ensure that we meet their goals and objectives for the projects. Risk management is important whether it is a straightforward subdivision or difficult infrastructure project, our team is assessing project risks and identifying roadblocks and working with clients to solve those challenges.
